Zoom Video Options

In Zoom, move your mouse to display the menu at the bottom of the Zoom meeting. The video camera icon is your camera. There are two (2) possible options - Stop Video and Start Video

  1. A camera icon without a line (Stop Video) indicates that your camera is live
  2. A camera icon with a line through it (Start Video) indicates that your camera is off

Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

To turn your camera off and on, click on the camera icon. Each click will toggle your camera off or on.

Virtual Background and Filters

To access other video options, click on the up arrow to the right of the camera icon.

  1. To switch cameras, select an available camera at the top of the menu
  2. To use a virtual background, select Choose Virtual Background from the menu
    • Select an image to apply to your background
    • Select None to remove a virtual background
    • Click on the plus sign to upload an image (or GIF) from your device
    • Note: you must be signed into your Zoom Client to see available CSS imagesUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. To add a filter - select Choose Video Filter.from menu
    • Select an image to apply the filter
    • Select None to remove a filter
    • Select Studio Effects to expose additional filters
    • Select None for each studio effect filter to remove these filters
    • Click Close when satisfied with filter selectionsUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
