Zoom is constantly adding new features and providing updates. We recommend that you periodically update your version of Zoom to have access to the new features and to help Zoom run smoother.
Updating Zoom is device-specific. You will want to update your version of Zoom on all devices that you use to access Zoom meetings/webinars. There are three options available for getting a newer version of Zoom.
From your Zoom Client
- Open the Zoom Client application on your computer
- Click on your initial or photo (upper right of Client)
- Select Check for updates from the menu
- Download the newest version (if available)
From Software Center: CSS-Assigned Machines
The Software Center includes software that can be downloaded to CSS Windows devices. No password is required. Periodically, IT adds newer versions to the software center.
- Type “software center” into the Windows search bar
- Select Software Center from displayed list
- Select applications (left menu)
- Click on and install the Zoom plugin. If you do not not see Zoom, your version is current
From the Zoom Download Center: Personal Devices
- Go to Zoom.us/downloads
- Download the Zoom Client for Meetings (top option)
