As well, IT provides a computer support Service Desk for all Scholastica community members. The Service Desk is staffed by two full-time professionals and several student technical assistants, who provide front-line support to all College-owned standard hardware and software, including my.CSS and Brightspace.

Available Resources

Campus Room Reservations

Scholastica’s beautiful campus is a resource! You can reserve or request many rooms on campus using the Campus Room Reservations service. The study rooms in the Student Center are integrated with EMS - reservations can be created on the door panels or online, and the door panels indicate if the space is available or not. They’re very popular, so plan ahead!

Campus Computer Labs

IT maintains on campus computer labs available for students. Each of these labs also has printers available. Students are welcome to use these labs any time there is not a class in them. Learn more or ask for help on the Academic Lab General Support page.

3D Printing

IT provides 3D Printing service to all Scholastica community members. Students, faculty, and staff have used this service to print custom parts for projects, anatomical models for demonstration, fidget toys and T-Rex skeletons, and even prosthetics and other accessibility aids. 

Accounts and Passwords

Your St. Scholastica credentials will be used to log you into many college resources. It is essential that you practice good stewardship, and keep your account secure. Only you should know your password! Refer to this Account Information document for information on how to maintain, update, or troubleshoot your account.

Google Workspace

St. Scholastica uses the Google Workspace for email, calendar, and document collaboration. Your CSS email is the official communication channel for the College, so you should check it at least once a day.

Your St. Scholastica account also grants you access to the full suite of Google tools.Google's cloud-based tools enable access to your files from anywhere on any internet-connected device so that you can stay on top of everything, no matter where you are. You can access your Google Workspace by logging in to Google products with your CSS account. 

Wireless Access

The College provides wireless networks in common spaces, classrooms, and dorms/apartments.
