TeamDynamix’s (TDX) Conversational AI bot, Storm, is an AI-powered virtual assistant that uses natural-language to answer questions, provide information, and automate common Information Technologies (IT) tasks. It helps end users get faster, self-service support while reducing workload for IT service teams.
What can Storm Do
- Aid unauthenticated and authenticated users on desktop or mobile devices, keeping the conversation as you move between TDX pages.

- Guide users through:
- Accounts & Passwords: account look-up, password resets, and forgotten passwords
- Network Connection: wired and WiFi connections including guest and residents hall networks
- Parking Information: parking passes, maps, and citations
- Answer and direct users to helpful IT Services and Knowledge Base articles that best fit their needs.

How to Use Storm
- From anywhere in the TeamDynamix Client Portal, users should see a floating Storm head in the bottom right corner.

- Click on Storm to open a conversation window.
- The conversation start will differ depending on if you're authenticated in TDX or not.
- If unauthenticated, Storm will prompt you to log in. To proceed, you can either:
- Click on the hyperlink to login
- Click the Cancel Authentication button to continue as a public user

- If authenticated, Storm will greet you by name.
- To begin your conversation, you can either:
- Click on one of the three button prompts
- Type in your IT question and click Send

- If Storm has found a relevant IT Service or Knowledge Base article, they will be presented to you. Select a button from the list to go to that page.

- Continue to select and/or type in responses to keep working with Storm.
- Once you've received your answer or are finished with the conversation:
- Select the button to end the conversation and go through a brief survey.

- Select the vertical ellipses in Storm's header and select End Conversation.

- Click the X in Storm's header, and confirm you want to close.
