Dependent Benefits Coverage

The College's medical, dental, vision and elective life insurance plans allow employees to elect coverage for their dependents. If an employee enrolls a dependent for coverage, the employee must provide proof of the dependent's eligibility. Examples of acceptable proof may include copies of a marriage certificate, birth certificate, adoption documents, or Federal tax return.

Employees are responsible to notify Human Resources within 30 days of changes in marital status or in their child's dependent status that result in their spouse's or child's loss of eligibility for coverage.
