Licensure is determined by individual state boards or agencies after graduation and application. The College of St. Scholastica has provided its best assessment of how the program aligns with state requirements but cannot guarantee licensure in any state or territory.
Completing a program is usually just one step. Most states also require extra coursework or training, supervised clinical hours, and passing state or national exams. Other requirements may include fees, background checks, work experience, references, and fingerprinting.
Licensure rules can change at any time. While the program may meet requirements when you enroll, future changes could affect eligibility. Students should check with the state board where they plan to work to confirm current requirements.
