Body
Everyone can share their screen in a Zoom meeting and in Zoom breakout rooms. However, a Host can limit screen sharing rights.
- Click on the Share Screen icon

- Select what you want to share:
- Screens (displays your entire screen, and you can switch between programs/browsers)
- Documents
- Whiteboard - can be a collaborative activity
- Note
- Advaced
- Any program/browser that is currently open on your device. These items are displayed below the top row. Hold down the Control key and select multiple programs/browsers to share. Once you share, a green frame will indicate what others are seeing.

- Click on Share.

A green frame indicates what is being shared. Note: while sharing your screen, you and others can annotate on the screen.
When You Screen Share
When you are the person sharing your screen, your menu moves to the top of the screen. To expose your menu, hover over the green rectangle (you are screen sharing) at the top of your screen. Note: there are additional menu options under More.
Note: the camera images and your menu are floating. You can left click on them and drag them somewhere else on the screen. To stop sharing, click on the red rectangle (Stop Share).
When Someone Else Screen Shares
When someone else is sharing their screen, you will find that you have a split menu. Most menu items remain at the bottom, but there are additional options at the top (under View Options). The side-by-side mode exposes a drag bar between the shared content and the images. Drag left to make the images larger; drag right to make the content larger.
