For payroll purposes, the standard workweek is 40 hours, not including a lunch period each day. It begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and ends the following Friday evening at midnight. The Duluth campus normal business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some offices, at certain times of the year, will remain open into the evening and on weekends. Office hours at other sites may vary and are determined by the site director. The hours of work may vary depending on the schedule established by the department supervisor. All employees are expected to be available during their designated office times.
